Happy New Year!

It is officially 2024.

Like many of you, I approached the coming new year with some goals in mind. I made a detailed chart so I can check off each day and monitor how I’m doing.

  1. I want to exercise for at least 30 minutes a day.
  2. I want to cut out refined sugar, except when I treat myself once a month.
  3. I want to lose 50lbs by this time next year. Starting weight: 314.3lbs I gained 10lbs on Pop-Tarts alone.
  4. I want to write creatively for at least 30 minutes a day. This can be on my main project or brainstorming other projects.
  5. I want to brush and floss my teeth at least once a day (I’ve been told this should be obvious but due to my chronic depression I have forgotten to take simple care of myself).

That’s the before pic. If I take it one step a time, one day at a time, one minute a time, I can become a healthier, more productive person.
